Smokey Bear

This beautiful and huge balloon – 145,000 cubic feet and 97 feet tall – will help mark Smokey’s 75th anniversary.

Dozens of balloons

More than two dozen balloons will be on display during the Saturday and Sunday morning launches at Bald Eagle Lake.

Colorado High

Pilot Patrick Carter will again bring the ever-popular Colorado High balloon to Steamboat, flying the state’s colors in elegant fashion.

5:00-8:00 p.m. VIP dinner for pilots, crew and sponsors.

SATURDAY, JULY 11TH 2020

6:15 a.m. Launch field at Bald Eagle Lake opens and shuttle transportation begins from the Meadows Parking Lot. There is no public parking at the event and no parking along Highway 40. No dogs are allowed due to balloon hazards. No smoking at launch field.
6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Balloon Launch, Bald Eagle Lake
6:30 – 9:00 p.m. Tunes & Balloons at Howelsen Hill featuring hot-air balloons, live music, food/drink/merchandise vendors, and kids’ activities
